What can I do with the Blucap Moto Developer Edition?

You can use the SDK to rapidly develop proof-of-concept (POC) HUD glasses tailored for various work scenarios and industries. Whether it’s a smartphone or another smart device, it can connect via standard Bluetooth and display your unique contextual information on the glasses using the Blucap Bluetooth protocol.

How does it differ from the Blucap Moto?

Blucap Moto is not yet in large-scale production. The Blucap Moto Developer Edition is a pre-production version made from sample components for software development. Hardware specifications between the two may vary in the future.

Can the Blucap Moto Developer Edition be purchased in bulk or used for deeper collaboration in the future?

The Blucap Moto Exploration Program offers limited availability of experimental HUD glasses for industry development teams. For in-depth collaboration inquiries, we warmly welcome you to reach out at support@blucapsport.com.

Can I customize prescription lenses on my own?

No. Due to the complex process of bonding waveguide lenses with prescription lenses, your prescription lens customization must be handled within Blucap’s manufacturing system. This cutting-edge approach ensures you receive the lightest and most streamlined AR prescription glasses possible.

What are the audio capabilities?

The Blucap Moto Developer Edition does not include audio playback or recording capabilities. You can use a separate Bluetooth headset if needed.

What is the return policy?

The Blucap Moto Developer Edition is a handcrafted prototype. Core components like the waveguide and Micro LED engine are not covered by warranty and are non-returnable. For other components, if damage occurs within six months, we offer a full device replacement service.
